Specialist Acupuncturists in Worthing

Acupuncture is an age-old treatment believed to have its roots in ancient China. Since around 100BC this treatment has been used both in the region and throughout the world, gaining wider appeal in recent years. Connected with your spiritual health as well as your physical, it is also believed to help with matters of the soul, by re-balancing your body's 'Qi'.

In the UK it has previously been recommended by the NHS and private healthcare groups as a complementary treatment to other conventional treatments.

He Luo Acupuncture Clinic's acupuncturists have practised this and other complementary therapies for more than 10 years. Contact our team today to book a session at our clinic in Worthing or to have a thorough consultation to see how we can help.

How does it work?

Our acupuncturists will inset sterile needles at key points around the body and face; your 'acupoints'. These areas are focused on to help your body re-balance its natural 'Qi'; leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed.

As the needles create minor tears in your skin, your body's natural defences kick in to heal the area. This process is believed to provide a number of short-term benefits and temporary relief from some conditions.

Why should I choose acupuncture?

Generally speaking, acupuncture can leave you feeling relaxed and ready to take on the world. There is some evidence that would suggest acupuncture can help by providing:
  • Short-term relief from migraine headaches
  • Short-term relief from neck and back pain
  • Temporary relief from osteoarthritis-based pain
  • Temporary relief from sporting injuries and muscular problems
  • Feelings of relaxation and tension relief
  • Feelings of inner natural balance
As individual results and benefits may vary, we always recommend speaking to your GP first before booking in a session with our acupuncturist.
